Im currently just fighting other lords and getting renown, and waiting for a faction to become so small that i can take their last city for myself, that can take a while DĪs for my compaions, this playthrough i tried leveling them up in str, agility, powerstrike, riding, ect and dont bother with the party skills at all, and they are getting better at combat and then they get more kills and exp (i hope) so they should get usefull on the party skills later on probably around lvl20 or so ill start on that. I also like pathfinding for the speed and surgory cause it really helps keep my good units allive D Thanks for all the help! Well i think ill stop leveling str and agi at 18, and have power strike, shield, riding and athlethics maxed out first, after that ill focus on getting leadership, charisma trading, looting, and prisoners. It's always maxed out long before I ever consider becoming a King. If you were determined to finish the game in record time, maybe there might be a point to having more RtR sooner but for me, it's just automatic and not worth thinking about. I don't send my valued companions off to get that score up - it has no bearing on anything. Since I'm in no hurry, I get 99 RtR just by playing the game. Charisma can help persuade other lords, win vassals, sue for peace, make money in trading, courting ladies, and in VC it determines how many ships you can have in your fleet. Intelligence gives me access to all of the books and gives me room to develop important skills that I want for myself. Agility relates directly to your ability to move effectively on the field and has great value as well. Strength has obvious value and it certainly is important. The strength could do with being higher and the low charisma is something I consider to be an unfortunate mistake. I consider this to be a combat-oriented, tournament champion. The character I'm playing with in VC has the following stats: That means, I do a lot of "non-optimal" things in my games. I don't like companions that are one-trick ponies with seemingly magical powers, I like everyone to be capable instead. I'd say that Tuidgy is more of a specialist while I am more of a generalist, wrt to playstyles.
